Metal Fire Doors
Metal Fire Doors, also known as HMPS (Hollow Metal Pressed Steel) doors, are engineered to provide critical protection against the spread of fire and smoke. At Horizon, our fire doors are tested and certified to comply with the latest fire safety norms and are trusted for both residential and commercial buildings where passive fire protection is mandatory.
Key Features
- Fire rating: 120 minutes (2 hours) for integrity and stability
- Tested as per IS 3614 and BS 476 Part 20 & 22.
- Supplied as a complete door set with frame, shutter, and fire-rated hardware.
- Available in 30, 60, 90, 120, and 240-minute fire ratings.
- 20 to 120 minute insulation using Rockwool as per NBC 2016.
- Single or double leaf configurations with optional vision panels.
- Finish options include synthetic enamel paint or powder coating.
- Frames available in single rabbet, double rabbet, or with architrave.
- Compatible with panic bars, door closers, locks, handles, and access control systems.
- Non fire rated metal doors are also available
- Planned with various seats for accoustic ratings.
120-Minute Metal Fire Doors
- Tested at CBRI Roorkee.
- Certified for 2-hour integrity and stability and upto 120 minutes insulation.
- Constructed using galvanized steel, mild steel, or stainless steel.
- Frame thickness is 1.2 mm; shutter thickness is 0.8 mm and abovewith 1.2 mm sheet. Frame Thickness available in 1.2 mm and above.
- Proprietary Insulation material for 120 minutes insulation.
- Optional fire-rated hardware includes panic devices, mortise and cylinder locks, hydraulic closers, concealed tower bolts, and vision panels as required.
Sliding Fire Doors
Key Features
- Certified fire rating up to 120 and 240 minutes as per BS 476 Part 20 & 22.
- Used for basement compartmentation when area exceeds 3000 sq.m as per NBC 2016.
- Slides shut automatically during fire via gravity-led counterweights and fusible link.
- Remote closing possible via solenoid connected to main fire panel or BMS. Installed near driveways; stays open under normal conditions and auto-closes in fire.
- Available up to 25m² size for vehicular and equipment clearance.
- Shutter made with Promatech or Durasteel boards, single rabbet 3-side frame with welded joints.
- Heavy-duty MS track with bottom rollers and recessed handles.
- Wicket gate option available for personnel egress.
- Horizontal or vertical slide options with single or double leaf configurations.
- Factory-applied zinc primer, topcoat to be applied at site.
Blast Resistant Doors and Partitions
